We provide hearing tests to residents of Tilbury, ready to diagnose any hearing loss that you could be experiencing. As an assessment of your hearing health, a hearing test is the first step needed to bring sound back to your life, ensuring you are able to hear clearly again.

You may start to find that communication can become very difficult for yourself, and for those around you, when you are struggling to hear. Effective for any age, our audiometric hearing tests are able to provide you with a thorough assessment of your hearing.

If you live in Tilbury, we can provide assistance to you if:

  • You think you might be suffering from hearing loss
  • You have a relative experiencing hearing loss
  • You struggle to hear what other people are saying
  • You need help in adjusting your current hearing aids

How your hearing test is performed

Our painless hearing tests are performed within a sound-proof room and are always available to residents of Tilbury. From beginning to end, our hearing tests only take roughly 30 minutes to complete. You will be asked to wear comfortable headphones during your hearing test as we relay short tones played at different volumes and pitches to you.

Along with determining if you can hear quiet or loud sounds and low-pitched or high-pitched sounds, our audiologists also assess whether your left or right ear is experiencing hearing loss throughout your hearing test. Along with sounds, you will also be asked to listen to speech at various volume levels at one ear at a time for accurate hearing testing.
