Our hearing tests are offered to residents of Blenheim and beyond, helping diagnose potential hearing loss you may be experiencing. With a hearing test your hearing health is assessed and is the first step towards hearing clearly again and bringing the sounds back to your life.

When you are having difficulty hearing, communication can become a struggle for yourself and other individuals around you. Our professional audiometric hearing tests offer a complete evaluation of your hearing whether old or young.

If you are located in Blenheim, we can assist you if:

  • You suspect you are experiencing hearing loss
  • One of your relatives is suffering from hearing loss
  • Hearing what other people are saying is becoming more difficult
  • You require adjustments to your current hearing aids

Your hearing test explained

Our hearing tests are always pain free and completed within a sound-proof room, ready for residents of Blenheim. From start to finish our hearing tests take roughly 30 minutes to complete. Through the course of your hearing test you will listen to short tones played at different pitches and volumes while wearing comfortable headphones.

Our audiologists work throughout your hearing test to assess if you can hear quiet or loud sounds, high-pitched or low-pitched sounds, or whether you have hearing loss in your left or right ear. You will also be asked to listen to different volumes of speech, played into each ear one at a time so we can accurately test your hearing.
